Syncopation

The “Syncopation” series design and development was based on color, texture and rhythm. The strip piecing of various fabrics and colors symbolize drum beats. The thread scribbling represent the musical instruments that creates the dance music.  These contemporary African American quilts celebrate the human spirit and their love for music.
